Dr. Or Cohen-Sasson

I am a research fellow at the TTLF at Stanford University and a postdoctoral fellow at
the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University (DH Lab; PI: Dr. Renana Keydar).

My Ph.D. dissertation (Advisor: Prof. Michael Birnhack) addressed patent law and
brought together legal theory, communication studies, and information theory.
In addition to my legal credentials (Ph.D., LL.M., LL.B.), I have an academic background
in biology (B.Sc.) and computer science (toward a B.Sc.).

My scholarly interests are:

• Law & Technology (especially Biotech Law and Computational Law)

• Intellectual Property (IP)

• Innovation Policy

• Computational Empirical Legal Studies

I have published my works in both scientific and law journals, including Science, EMBO Reports, Arizona State LJ, Fordham IPLJ, and JWIP.
